Everybody tries to achieve something sometimes. The mistake most people make is they act with the same intensity they always do. That's the cardinal sin. Existing systems are so strong you're quickly back to your old ways.

If you want to succeed, take massive action right away. Hit the earth like a comet.

Some examples:

  • You want to convince a candidate that you're the best next step for her career? Call her every day until she signs the contract.
  • You need your boss to approve your project plan? Execute half of it as part of your proof of concept.
  • You want to learn a language? Move to the country and only consume media in that language.
  • You want to galvanise your team for a moment of high intensity? Move into your office.
